HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER?

Under ‘Our Collections’ menu option in the navigation bar, choose your items category. (For example: if you have baby shoes that you want preserved, click on Childhood memories. If you have an adult shoe or boot you want preserved, click on Personal Memories etc.).

Next, browse the Collection’s web page and look for the item that best fits what you are looking to have preserved--click on that item. You will be taken to the product page where you will find pricing and product options.

Once you have chosen your options, add the item to your shopping cart. Proceed through the shopping cart to finalize your order. Once order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on where to send your items. Our address is:

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU RECEIVE MY ITEM(S)?

Once we receive your item(s), we will notify you within two business days that we have received your item(s).


WILL MY PERSONAL ITEM(S) BE PLATED AT YOUR LOCATION?

Yes! All personal keepsakes are processed at our facility in Escondido, California and shipped directly back to you. If you see other companies advertising bronze plating for keepsake preservation, most likely they are sending their customers’ items to us. We are the only electro-plating service in the United States.

HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY BRONZED ITEM BACK IN THE MAIL?

Typical turnaround time is 8-10 weeks (not guaranteed). This means that 8-10 weeks after we receive your item(s) at our facility in Southern California, we will ship your newly bronzed item(s) back to you. If you need to meet a deadline, please take into consideration shipping time. Production Rush service and expedited shipping is available on most items.


IF I NEED AN ORDER IN A RUSH, DO YOU GUARANTEE I’LL GET MY ORDER ON THE DATE I REQUEST?

We provide Production Rush Options so you can receive your bronzed item(s) by your requested in-hand date. We pride ourselves on meeting our customers’ deadlines. Once we receive your order, we will let you know if we meet your requested in-hand date.

Below is our pricing for our Production Rush Options. The first business day of production begins the day after we receive your item(s). Last business day of production is on the day your item(s) ship back to you. Production Rush fees simply moves your project ahead of others to help meet your receive by date. This fee is separate from shipping costs.

WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY?

Your item(s) receives the Forever Shine Guarantee. If you are ever dissatisfied with the workmanship, return it to us and we will fix it.

During the life of your keepsake, you can send it in for a FREE polish. Shipping costs to and from our location is your responsibility for the polishing.


HOW FAST CAN YOU CREATE A CUSTOM AWARD OR KEEPSAKE?

We have been known to turn things around in a week! Turnaround time depends on the following: the item that’s being plated, the finish (antique bronze, bright bronze, silver or 24 karat gold), the complexity of the mounting (if applicable) and how fast we receive your engraving information. WHAT IS BRONZING?

Bronzing is a process in which an item is encased in a layer of pure copper. The copper is first oxidized and then polished to achieve a lustrous shine thus creating a lasting and memorable keepsake. Items that are silver and gold plated are first bronzed; then the requested finish is plated on top.


HOW DO I KNOW THAT WHAT I’M ORDERING IS GENUINE METAL?

Many companies promote “bronzing” when in fact all they are doing is painting your keepsake. These companies add trace amounts of copper (or any other color) pigment to a lacquer or resin base and essentially dip or paint your item a “bronze” color. To ensure that your item is being plated with solid metal, look for the word “electroplated.” This is the only word that means genuine metal plated. We use an electroplating process and offer a Forever Shine Guarantee.


WHAT CAN BE BRONZED?

We can plate almost anything that can fit into our tanks; however, the following items don’t plate very well:

  • Stuffed animals (unless we can remove the stuffing)
  • Certain food items
  • Certain plant items
  • Certain paper or cardboard products
  • Items that are extremely buoyant

CAN YOU BRONZE LEATHER, PLASTIC, KNITTED OR CROCHETED ITEMS?

Yes.

I AM HAVING SHOES BRONZED. CAN THE SHOELACES HANG LOOSE?

Shoelaces that aren't attached to the shoe's body are often too delicate for the plating process. While we can leave laces untied and loosely attached to the shoe sides upon request, our standard procedure is to tie the laces in a bow. If your shoes are lace less, we can bronze the shoes as is or add laces at no extra cost. Please specify your preference for laces when placing your order.

CAN I INCORPORATE A LOGO INTO MY ENGRAVING?

Yes! We have a laser engraver and can engrave logos in detail. We request camera-ready artwork but can work with just about any file format. Obviously, the cleaner the original artwork, the better it engraves. Typically, the artwork you would send to a printer works best.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Unfortunately, we do not ship outside of the United States.

HOW DO YOU SHIP?

We ship via UPS, FedEx or US Postal Service. We can use your own shipping account upon request. If we are shipping to a P.O. Box, we need to ship your item(s) via the US Postal Service.
